MAAV est une artiste poétesse

depuis son plus jeune âge, elle jongle avec les mots et les images, incapable de choisir entre les deux.

elle a découvert l'art et la culture asiatique à 16 ans grâce à un voisin collectionneur et expert mondial en art tibétain.

Mais sa rencontres avec le JAPON en 2016 et en 2017 avec son maître de Sumi-e Tamayo samejima va marquer un tournant décisif.

Passionnée d'art et de philosophie japonaise, elle se forme au travail de l'encre de chine (sumi-e), des encres flottantes (suminagashi) et des pigments naturels (nihonga) tout en se laissant bercer par des concepts plus abstraits.

Le MA (le vide, l'espace, le plein), YUGEN (ce qui est suggéré, au delà des mots), GODAI (les 5 éléments), HONNE (l'intime), MONO NO AWARE (impermanence), les mystères de l'Alchymie.

Depuis 2021, elle est une portraitiste atypique. Elle met en peinture le paysage intérieur de personne qu'elle rencontre.

Ces œuvres intimistes sont le fruit d'une collaboration singulière avec le sujet.

Elle puise son inspiration chez françois CHENG pour son approche du vide médian, chez Christian BOBIN pour sa poésie.

Chez SOULAGE et LEE BAE pour l'abstraction vertigineuse de la matière, Fabienne VERDIER pour le mouvement dans le souffle.

Chez HIROSHIGE et HOKUSAI, elle puise l'intensité des paysages dans l'instant.

Chez Gustave MOREAU et CHIRICO la rêverie surréaliste.
